They say not to name your cattle, but it’s a safe bet that we aren’t going to harvest the Bull therefore, he shall bear a name. The cattle herd is mostly black Angus, but we’ve got some amazing Herefords dropping this season, thanks to our newest prize-winning bull, Harry. We have rotating crops of Alfalfa, Triticale, and Cow Peas. Our farm and ranch operation is always keeping us on our toes, primarily farming Hard Red Winter Wheat, for harvest and hay. We are truly blessed to have a growing operation at such a young age, hoping to continue the dream of farming to feed the world long into our 80’s.
